BIOGRAPHY

Bethany Westra is a2D artist that works in many different mediums. Some include; graphite, ink, oil paint, acrylic paint and watercolor. She was born in Houston Texas but moved to the Conroe area early into a school bus house until moving into the home she has lived in for 23 years. Westra explores recreating moments, nature and abstraction with use of different mediums. Westra has been doing art since she could hold a crayon but she did not truly learn art until she was in school. She joined different art clubs and entered art into the Western Art show every year only getting a ribbon a handful of times. After graduating High School in 2015 Westra continued her study of art at Lone Star Montgomery getting her Associates of Art Degree in 2019, then transferring to Sam Houston State University where she will graduate in Spring 2024 with a teaching certificate. Westra has received two awards from the Conroe VFW in 2014 and 2015 and was a part of  Senior Preview, I’m Happy For You 2023.
